After holding its official groundbreaking ceremony in June, construction at Frenchman’s Bay by Madison Group is well underway. The development is located on a former vacant school site and is now buzzing with activity as construction crews complete excavation on all lots. Many lots already have foundations poured and insulated, while the most advanced units have subfloors currently being installed.

When completed in 2019, Frenchman Bay will consist of contemporary designed urban towns and singles with sleek exteriors characterized by stone, stucco and brick facades. Each block is carefully colour- and architecturally-coordinated in order to create cohesive streetscapes, while large picture windows, modern garages and glass front doors provide inviting entryways

Inside, thoughtfully-designed layouts feature bright, open-concept floorplans with gourmet kitchens and plenty of natural light. In order to personalize their new homes, purchasers will have an opportunity to visit the Madison Group’s Design Studio showcasing a wide selection of standard finishes, upgrades and décor features. Homebuyers can choose a combination of materials, colours and finishes that suit individual tastes, styles and budgets.

Located at 747 Liverpool Road, residents of Frenchman’s Bay will be surrounded by an array of local amenities and attractions. Pickering’s Main Central Library, City Hall and Recreational Complex are all a short drive away and offer classes and programming for all ages. Modern day conveniences including Home Depot, Goodlife Fitness and Loblaws are located along Kingston Road, while the Pickering Town Centre is just off of Highway 401. The one million-square-foot shopping centre is a local landmark and houses over 200 retailers, restaurants and services. The centre is also close to a major transit hub with a direct connection to the Pickering GO Station making commutes to downtown Toronto a quick 27 minute train ride.

At the foot of Liverpool Road is Nautical Village, where you’ll find row upon row of charming cafes, boutique shops and fine dining establishments. The popular tourist destination is adjacent to Millennium Square, a public space next to Beachfront Park that’s often used for open-air concerts and other family-friendly activities during the summer months. Closer to home, the newly redeveloped Ratepayer Memorial Park sits adjacent to the community and includes lush landscaping, paved walkways and a new children’s play structure.
